Take Thyme Fish Restaurant is located within 50 yards of Ilfracombe harbour. Take Thyme specialises in locally caught fish, seafood, and Exmoor reared steaks. Wherever possible fresh local produce is used and the emphasis is on letting the simple, clean flavours of the West Country shine through onto the plate.

Relish Bar


Relish Bar & Bistro opened in March 2012 and is located in the heart of Ilfracombe's oldest street, set in a character heritage building, only 2 minutes from Ilfracombe harbour on Fore Street.

Specialising in quality fresh seafood meals including our Seafood Platter featuring whole Lundy lobster, dressed crab, crevettes, mussels, and crayfish tails. Also available is a range of local meats and game from the South West, gourmet pizzas and some very tasty wines to complement.

The Quay


The Quay is situated in the picturesque North Devon coastal town of Ilfracombe. Visitors are offered stunning views of the sea and harbour, and given the unique opportunity to dine alongside original artworks by British artist Damien Hirst.

The restaurant is famous for its fresh, locally sourced produce. Dishes are simply presented from a menu that takes inspiration from classic British and European cuisine.

The food is top class and all homemade. The pizza was the best italian pizza i have ever had.

Very friendly staff and couldn't help enough. Very reasonably priced.

Blacksands is a family run bistro serving homemade, locally sourced, honest food. We also have a licensed bar with a great cocktail menu!
